Sample of Christmas Letter to Colleague

Writing a Christmas letter to a colleague can be difficult at times. Maybe the two of you might not have the memories which everyone shares and you might run out of words to say. However, you need to think about the good times which the two of you have had and write them down so they can serve as a reminder for you and him/her.

Always start the letter by stating the purpose and wishing your colleague a merry Christmas. Moreover, inquire about their health as it will add an overall formal tone. Make sure that you do not miss out on the formal bit since the two of you are colleagues.

Then later mention about all the things the two of you have done together and end the letter by mentioning how you would like to spend this Christmas with or without him/her.

Dear John,

First of all I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that this occasion brings a lot of joys for you and your family. I hope this letter has found you in good health.

It has been quite some time since we met the last time and celebrated this wonderful occasion together. You recently shifted to Los Angeles after the promotion and our last year’s celebration is still stored in my memory. I hope that this year you have once again planned out the perfect party and will have a wonderful time even though you are away from your real home. I sincerely wish that we were together on this Christmas so we could repeat what we did last year.

I once again would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Enjoy your time with your family.

Your friend and colleague,

Phantom James
