Sample of a Recommendation Letter

A recommendation letter is written by one organization to another organization in order to let them know whether the employee the other organization is trying to hire is recommended by his/her previous employer or not.

Whenever you are writing this letter, make sure that you maintain a formal and professional tone. Be as concise as possible and let them know why exactly you would want them to keep this employee in their organization. Discuss the employee’s strengths and even the weaknesses, if you think there were any. Moreover, you can always let them know through examples as why or why not this employee is recommended by you. Make sure that you enter y our e-mail address or phone number so that the organization can contact you personally if they have any further questions.
