A charity letter is written in order to ask for charity from a certain organization. If you currently own an organization which runs on charity, you can then write a letter to individuals, government agencies or even a business to help you with your cause.

Start you letter by introducing yourself. Explain to them what exactly you are running so they can contribute towards it. Make sure that you keep your letter concise and mention every piece of information that is important for you to take charity from them. Make sure that you maintain a formal and professional tone as you are writing a serious letter. Lastly, you can write about how exactly you want to take this charity from them.

I, Gill Parkins, am currently running a charitable school in the state for the past eight years. The aim of my school is to provide free education to the poor and financially weak students. During these eight years the number of students in my institution is increasing constantly.

Since the amount of students is increasing and I have a limited space, therefore I am encountering a lot of congestion in my school. Therefore, I am planning to expand it. However, there is a lack of funds and I am unable to perform this task. For now I have given an application to several different personalities and government agencies but none of them have answered me back with a positive reply.

I heard a lot about your interest in giving charity. Hence, I am writing this letter to you in order to ask you to contribute towards this noble cause. Please contribute towards this school so that more students can study cheaply and take advantage of it.

I hope that you will consider giving me this donation and you will make an important contribution in order to change the lives of these talented individuals who are currently willing to study in this school despite the low funds that they have.

Thanking you,

Gill Parkins.
