Dear Pa,
How are you? I hope this letter finds you in good health.
First of all, I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas. I hope this Christmas brings lots of joys to you.
Today I found the time to write you a letter as I am enjoying my Christmas holidays. It was impossible for me to make it back home, but that does not mean that I do not miss the times when we used to spend the Christmas Eve together.
Mandy and I were decorating the Christmas tree and while putting the star at the top of the tree, I remembered how you used to let me climb over your shoulders just so that I can do what I loved the most. It brought a tear to my eye as now I am cherishing all those moments.
I feel nostalgic, that’s true, and I really wish that we can meet soon. I am planning to call you here in America but it depends a lot upon you, whether you want to come here as well or not. I really want to spend some time with you and me going to Canada is not an option since I have a lot of work pending over here.
Do write me back with a reply and let me know whether you want to join me in America or not. Merry Christmas once again and bless you.
