Sample of Casual Leave Letter

A casual leave letter is written when an employee has to casually take a few days off from work. Such leaves have always been a part of different organizations in the world as they let their employees take the day off in order to get done with their personal problems. While writing such letters you must make sure that your tone remains formal since you will be writing to your employers. Moreover, you must start off by mentioning the days during which you will not be coming to work, the reason why you won’t be able to make it and how exactly you are planning to help your organization during your absence as your left will remain pending.

Sir,

I am writing this letter in order to apply for my casual leave of two days from this office. As you are aware that this year I have not taken a single day off, therefore I would like to take these two days off since I still have a few leaves left in my leave balance. Moreover, this time it’s important because I need to be present at a court hearing tomorrow which is extremely important for me and my family.

I would also like to inform you that I have already completed all the assignments and tasks which were assigned to me during the course of this month. Therefore, the company is not going to suffer anything since I have already completed my targets. Once this two-day leave is over, I will be back in order to resume my duties immediately.

Thanking you in advance,

Yours sincerely,

Brian Walker
